The internal battery has the task of bridging a failure of the external power supply.
The realistic battery life of the CarPro-Tec in the event of a power failure is 4 weeks*. However, it is very dependent on the activities of the integrated 4G/LTE module and the GPS tracker, which are usually in a deep sleep and only start when there is movement, vibration or an alarm and transmit the position immediately.
For winter storage without a permanent power supply, we recommend our power station.
*When the vehicle is parked (stationary) and the CarPro-Tec is armed, the battery life is approx. 4 weeks (4G module in stand-by mode). While driving and when the vehicle is parked (4G module active), the battery life is reduced to approx. 3-4 days.
