Quick guide for the FIS-01 wireless indoor siren

Switching on:

The FIS is switched on using the small slide switch on the top of the housing.

The FIS is active when the red LED on the back of the housing is flashing.

Charging the battery:

Charge the battery using a 5V USB-C power adapter. You can check the battery level on the side battery indicator.

A fully charged battery can power the FIS for 9-12 months.

Alarm Activation:

The siren will activate and deactivate with a 2-3 second delay when the corresponding radio signal is detected. The siren will sound for as long as the transmitter is sending its signal.

Protect your hearing; the siren is very loud.

Pairing the Transmitter

If the FIS (Driver Information System) was delivered without a transmitter (because you already have a wireless external siren for CarPro-Tec in use), you will need to program the existing transmitter.

If the siren was delivered with a transmitter, the transmitter is already programmed into the FIS.

To program the siren, proceed as follows:

Press and hold the black button on the back of the siren.

Then briefly press the small light grey button in the second hole on the back of the case once.

The red LED will start flashing. Now the transmitter's radio signal needs to be established.

To do this, trigger an alarm using the volume sensor on the armed CarPro-Tec system. This will cause the transmitter connected to the CarPro-Tec to start transmitting its signal.

When the red LED on the FIS (Driver Information System) goes out, release the black button.

Caution: If the transmitter's radio signal continues to be transmitted, the siren will sound with a 1-3 second delay.

Disarm the CarPro-Tec system so that the transmitter stops transmitting. The siren will then stop sounding 2-3 seconds later.

Alternatively, you can deactivate the FIS using the small slide switch.

The distance between the FIS and the transmitter should be 10-20 meters.
