A suitable installation location for the CarPro-Tec is a place that is easily accessible, but also protected from view near a 5V/12V power supply in the living area of your motorhome or caravan. For example, under a seating area, on the inside of your wardrobe or in any drawer.
It is also important that you do not place the position of the supplied siren in the immediate vicinity of the CarPro-Tec, but mount it as far away from it as possible and out of sight.
If the intruder intends to search for or localise the very loud alarm signal as a result of his break-in, he may end up only finding the siren and the CarPro-Tec alarm would remain active.
