All sensors and accessory components supplied with your CarPro-Tec are already taught-in and fully configured.

Please use the CarPro-Tec quick guide for the initial commissioning of your new CarPro-Tec. These detailed instructions will help you with detailed setting options.

General information

The outdoor theft sensor is a waterproof outdoor sensor to protect your valuables such as e-bikes, pushchairs and other items.

Teach-in

Please note: All sensors and accessory components supplied with your CarPro-Tec are already programmed and configured.

  1. Press and hold the ACCESSORIES button on the CarPro-Tec with a thin object. (ACCESSORIES LED in the status LED bar lights up red)
  2. Now remove the magnet from the outdoor anti-theft sensor. (LED from the outdoor anti-theft sensor lights up red once)
  3. The CarPro-Tec beeps twice if the teach-in process is successful.
  4. Release the  ACCESSORIES  button.

Unlearning

To decouple sensors that have already been taught-in, repeat steps 1-2. The CarPro-Tec beeps once and the red LED goes out after the teach-in process has been successfully completed.

Daily use

Simply use the outdoor sensor like a large bicycle lock and run the cable through all external valuables such as e-bikes, pushchairs and other items and place the magnet back in the marked position on the outdoor sensor at the end. The correct position of the magnet is marked on the housing and is confirmed by the red LED lighting up once.
Make sure that the position of the magnet is not inadvertently changed at a later date when your CarPro-Tec is armed, the valuables you have secured are also monitored.

As soon as the magnet is removed by pulling on the protective cable or an attempt is made to cut the protective cable, an alarm is triggered.

Battery replacement

The internal battery must be replaced every 2 years.

To do this, please open the housing by loosening the 4 screws using a suitable screwdriver (Fig. 5) and replace the CR2450 battery (Fig. 6). Please ensure that the polarity is correct.
