Ensuring a Safe Environment for Your Pet with CarPro-Tec

If you leave your pet inside the vehicle, the CarPro-Tec system allows you to monitor your pet live and avoid unnecessary stress by disabling the internal siren while keeping the external siren active.

Make sure everything is set up correctly before leaving your vehicle:

1. Disable the internal siren

The loud internal siren can be stressful for your pet. You can disable it while still using the external siren as an effective deterrent.

• Locate the transmitter unit connected to the CarPro-Tec system.
• Set the siren mode switch to the right position (this ensures that only the external siren is used).
• Test the system to ensure that only the external siren is activated.

2. Check the camera for live monitoring

Before leaving the vehicle, ensure that the camera is working properly so that you can monitor your pet remotely:

• Open the CarPro-Tec app on your smartphone.
• Go to the live camera feed to confirm proper positioning and visibility.
• Ensure that motion detection notifications are enabled so that any movement inside the vehicle is recorded.

3. Adjust the sensitivity of the motion volume sensor

If your pet moves inside the vehicle, sudden movements – such as jumping from the bed to the floor – may trigger the alarm. To prevent false alarms, adjust the sensor sensitivity:

• Open the CarPro-Tec app.
• Navigate to the sensor settings.
• Reduce the sensitivity of the motion volume sensor to prevent false alarms caused by pet movement.

What to do in case of an alarm

If an alarm is triggered while your pet is inside the vehicle, follow these steps to assess the situation:

1. Identify the triggered sensor

• Open the CarPro-Tec app and check the alarm notification.
• Identify which sensor was triggered (door/window contact, motion sensor, etc.).
• If it was the motion volume sensor, your pet may have accidentally triggered the alarm.

2. Use the camera to assess the situation

• Check the live camera feed to see if your pet is moving or remains calm.
• If your pet appears calm, analyze whether an external factor (such as wind) may have triggered the alarm.

3. Determine the next steps

• False alarm (caused by pet or external factors):

  • Temporarily deactivate the system via the CarPro-Tec app.
  • Reactivate monitoring after ensuring that everything is stable.

• Emergency (heat, poor air quality, or pet distress):

  • If your pet shows signs of stress, return to the vehicle immediately.
  • If necessary, ask someone nearby to check on your pet until you arrive.

• Break-in attempt:

  • If you notice an intruder or signs of forced entry, do not approach the vehicle alone.
  • Contact the police and share the vehicle’s GPS location (available in the CarPro-Tec app).
  • If needed, use the function to activate the external siren to further deter the intruder.

Before leaving your pet alone in the vehicle, ensure the following:
